The more weight the kid gains, the harder he has to work to shed it. Soccer, swimmingpool, skating and Karate are simply some actions he can take part in.

Structured and disciplined exercise is possible only when one is put into a formal atmosphere. This is the reason an overweight child simply HAS to be placed into an after school program of this type.
